Why was my co-signer not accepted?

Your co-signer may have been rejected by us here at Housing Hand OR they may have rejected your invitation to stand as your co-signer.

There are a number of reasons that your chosen co-signer may not be accepted by Housing Hand. Here are a few of them:

1. They may be under 18
2. They may be using us as a guarantor themselves.
3. They may be unemployed.
4. They may be receiving Housing State Benefits.
5. They may be a student.
6. They may share the same address as that of the Tenant applying.
7. They may not accept our terms and conditions
8. They may fail our identity checks numerous times and are unable to provide us with suitable documentation.
