Why can’t I submit details in my dashboard?
If you’re unable to submit details and progress with your application, it may be due to third-party cookies being disabled in your browser.
When third-party cookies are disabled, our system cannot recognise your session, even if you are logged in.
How to fix this issue:
Follow these steps in order to resolve the problem:
- Log out of your Housing Hand account.
- Enable third-party cookies in your browser (see how below).
- Clear your cache in your browser settings.
- Refresh the tab (or close the browser and reopen it).
- Log back into your Housing Hand account.
How to enable cookies in your browser
Safari (Mac):
- Open Safari and go to Preferences.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Deselect "Block all cookies" under Cookies and website data.
- Ensure "Prevent cross-site tracking" is turned off to allow third-party cookies.
Safari (iPhone/iPad):
- Open the Settings app and scroll down to Safari.
- Deselect "Block All Cookies".
- You may leave "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" enabled to block tracking cookies while still allowing functional ones.
Google Chrome (PC/Mac):
- Open Chrome and click the three dots at the top right.
- Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings.
- Click Third-party cookies and select "Allow third-party cookies."
