Why can’t I submit details in my dashboard?

If you’re unable to submit details and progress with your application, it may be due to third-party cookies being disabled in your browser. 

When third-party cookies are disabled, our system cannot recognise your session, even if you are logged in. 

How to fix this issue: 

Follow these steps in order to resolve the problem: 

  1. Log out of your Housing Hand account. 
  2. Enable third-party cookies in your browser (see how below). 
  3. Clear your cache in your browser settings. 
  4. Refresh the tab (or close the browser and reopen it). 
  5. Log back into your Housing Hand account. 

How to enable cookies in your browser 

Safari (Mac): 

  1. Open Safari and go to Preferences. 
  2. Click the Privacy tab. 
  3. Deselect "Block all cookies" under Cookies and website data. 
  4. Ensure "Prevent cross-site tracking" is turned off to allow third-party cookies. 

Safari (iPhone/iPad): 

  1. Open the Settings app and scroll down to Safari. 
  2. Deselect "Block All Cookies". 
  3. You may leave "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" enabled to block tracking cookies while still allowing functional ones. 

Google Chrome (PC/Mac): 

  1. Open Chrome and click the three dots at the top right. 
  2. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings. 
  3. Click Third-party cookies and select "Allow third-party cookies."
