What personal details do I need to provide as a student?  

 To start your application with Housing Hand, we require some basic personal details to determine your eligibility, and the additional information needed for your application. Providing accurate information is essential, as it helps us process your application smoothly and efficiently.  

• Date of birth – You must be 18 or older for us to stand as your guarantor or turning 18 in the year that your tenancy starts. Please ensure this is accurate, as we will verify your identity.  

To enter your date of birth, click on the month and year at the top of the calendar.   

• Your university  
• Your course  
• Type of course. Whether this is an undergraduate or postgraduate course.  
• Year of study. Are you in your first year or are you in subsequent years? This is important as we need to assess what stage your study is at and the risk you are to us if we cover you.
