Can I apply after my tenancy starts?

Yes, you can purchase the guarantee for Only My Share at any time, even after your tenancy has started. 

However, if your policy start date is after your tenancy has begun, there will be a 90-day exclusion period before you can make a claim. This ensures fair coverage and prevents tenants from purchasing a guarantee only after knowing a housemate is likely to default.
