What paperwork do I need?

We try to make the entire process as streamlined as possible. So we only ask for the bare minimum of paperwork.

The requirements may differ depending on whether you are a student or a working professional so make sure you are looking at the right information.

I am a student

If you are a student, paperwork will be detailed showing:

  • Photo I.D. – A passport, drivers license, or any other form of identification

  • Proof of Study – A correspondence from your University, a UCAS form or letter, or a Student I.D, dated within the last year.

I am a working professional

If you are a working professional, you should provide:

  • Photo I.D. – A passport, drivers license, or any other form of identification

  • Proof of Income – the last 3 months worth of Payslips or Bank statements showing that you earn one and a half times your rent.

  • Proof of National Insurance

Are you an international working professional?

If so, it is more than likely that you won't have a National Insurance Number. Please upload a copy of your future permanent contract instead and we will review it for you.

Other Document Types

When applying for a Guarantor, you may be required to provide different documentation to the main documents listed. You may not need to provide all of the standard documents or you may be required to provide extra documents too.

Basically, if there is a section to upload a document, it is required.

Please choose from the special cases below to see what the requirements are for your application
. If the options don't line up with your application, you have a standard application and can follow the general guidelines.
