How does an agent use the free House Finder Service?

Welcome to our House Finder Service, where we match potential tenants searching for properties, with agents offering properties in the catchment area searched.

It's simple, just update your preferences and we'll store your information on record. When a potential tenant uses the service and searches in your area, as long as their search preferences match what you have to offer, they will show as a new lead in your House Finder dashboard and you can follow up with them directly.

Update your preferences
   

  • Location: Start typing an address in this field and choose the best option from what Google Maps offers. This doesn't have to be your office address or the exact address of a property you offer, it just needs to be centred in your catchment area, so that you match with the most leads looking in the area.
  • Distance from location: Choose between 1 and 5 miles here. It will use the address entered for your location as the centre most point of your catchment area.
  • Maximum Rental amount: What's the most you charge for rent per week or month?
  • Minimum Rental Amount: What's the least you charge for rent per week or month?
  • Monthly or Weekly: Are the above rental amounts weekly or monthly values?
  • Number of bedrooms: How many bedrooms do your properties have? This field is multiselect. Please choose all that apply to you.
  • Furniture: How do your properties come? Please select all options that you offer.
  • Type of tenant: Do you offer properties to anyone or do you only accept students? Here, you can make sure you get the right leads by selecting student. working professional, or both.

  •  Contact: Email an agent directly to enquire about their properties
  • Delete: Not interested in this lead? Delete them from your dashboard.

Once you submit your preferences, your House Finder Service Dashboard will refresh and update. If your submission matches with any leads we have on record, you will see a list of all the leads we have on file looking for accommodation in your chosen area, providing their email address and telephone number if we have it on record.
   
Every time a new lead searches in your area, they will be added to your dashboard and you will be notified of them.
    
If no users show, try searching again using a different location or by changing your preferences. Please remember you can multiselect. Don't limit yourself by only selecting one option if you offer multiple! For example, you may offer 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 bedroom properties, so remember to tick them all.
